We have previously had clinics in the Sydney CBD prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and have now partnered with one of our colleagues, Kelly Allen, in Mona Vale NSW to offer a range of DBT services.

From our Sydney location, we offer individual therapy, DBT group sessions, and RO DBT Skills Classes

Referrals to Sydney DBT

Referrals to our Sydney DBT Clinic are through our centralised intake team that operates on the Gold Coast and in Brighton Victoria.

 Feel free to call our intake team on 07 5646 3848 or email us at intake@dbtclinics.com and we will assist with the most appropriate referral!

GPs, psychiatrists, and other health professionals can also fax a referral to 07 5676 6771 (QLD fax number) and it will be automatically uploaded to our secure electronic medical record system. We also use Medical Objects to receive secure referrals from GPs and other specialists to Dr. Peter King (5949971K). Once received our intake team will contact the individual being referred to identify the most suitable clinician from our team.

Extension of Telehealth Psychology Sessions!

 

The federal government has announced a $1.1 billion extension to the national COVID-19 health response. As part of this announcement, the Government has indicated it will extend the Medicare funding for allied health telehealth services and care until 30 June 2021 which had been due to finish on March 31st 2021.

We have had confirmation that this extension includes telehealth psychology sessions. This means that with a valid Medicare referral you will continue to be eligible for a Medicare referral for psychology services accessed via Telehealth (video or phone).
